Join our team to continue building our success story together. **Job Description** -------------------------- As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving specialty coffee and other beverages, as well as serving food items such as baked goods and sandwiches to our valued guests. This role requires a combination of formal training and prior work experience to excel in delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining a positive work environment. **Job Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- * Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and more. * Follow recipes and presentation techniques to ensure consistency in quality and appearance. * Serve food items, including baked goods and sandwiches, adhering to proper food handling procedures. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces. * Ensure appropriate inventory levels by restocking and rotating supplies as needed. * Process guest orders accurately. * Provide excellent guest service by interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner. * Stay current on emerging coffee trends and products to continuously enhance skills and knowledge. * Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned. **Work Experience** ----------------------- * Requires knowledge and skills acquired through formal training or substantial work experience. * Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. * Has 2–3 years of work experience. **Competencies** ---------------- Accountability Business Acumen Championing Guest Needs Self-Development Impact Interpersonal Skills Functional Job Knowledge Leadership Problem Solving Teamwork and Collaboration**Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. **Certifications** ------------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
