Coordination with auditors and tax authorities **Location:** Zapopan, Jalisco. **Job Type:** Full-time **Work Mode:** On-site **Salary:** To be agreed upon based on experience **Job Description:** A construction-sector company is seeking an **Accountant** with verifiable experience, responsible for the proper accounting, tax, and financial management of the company, tasked with maintaining timely and accurate accounting records by reviewing, classifying, and recording documents to keep information updated, as well as updating departmental files. **Responsibilities:** * Recording and controlling income, expense, and journal vouchers. * Preparing and interpreting financial statements and monthly reports. * Controlling costs per project, budgets, and variance analysis. * Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Calculating and filing federal and state taxes. * Performing bank reconciliations. * Managing payroll, benefits, and labor obligations. * Coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities. * Supporting financial planning for projects. * Conducting monthly and annual tax closings. * Providing accounting and tax advisory services and supporting the legal-tax department. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with professional license. * Minimum 2 years’ experience as an accountant in the construction sector. * Knowledge of project-based cost accounting. * Proficiency in accounting software: CONTPAQ I, CONTPAQ PAYROLL, SUA IDSE. * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. * Knowledge of current tax regulations. * Analytical ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail. **Desired Skills:** * Working under pressure. * Effective communication. * Planning and organization. * Professional ethics and confidentiality. * Teamwork. * Analytical thinking. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Statutory benefits. * Job stability. * Positive work environment.
