**Freight Manager** **Location:** Av. Gobernador Luis G. Curiel, Guadalajara, Jalisco **Position Type:** Full-time **Schedule:** * Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. * Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. **Salary:** $16,000 per month Job Description We are seeking a **Freight Manager** responsible for coordinating, controlling, and supervising local and long-haul freight routes, ensuring proper execution of shipments, cost control, and management of operators and suppliers. Key Responsibilities * Monitor departures for local and long-haul routes. * Coordinate long-haul route operators. * Manage and track internal and external GPS systems. * Process and monitor supplier payment requests and payments. * Control cost calculations for wholesale routes. * Supervise payments for loading/unloading handling and related permits. * Generate Waybills for local routes. * Prepare TXT/XLS files for external suppliers. * Track routes, cargo security, and delivery status. * Manage incidents involving damaged goods and assign corresponding charges. Requirements * Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position. * Proficiency in Excel and computer use. * Knowledge of route control, payments, and logistics documentation. * Critical thinking, organizational skills, and results-oriented mindset. * Effective communication skills.
