Job Opening: Production Manager Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco Company: Maké Bakery Schedule: Full-time (on-site) Production Shifts: Morning shift (6:00–14:00) and Afternoon shift (11:00–19:00) Work Modality: On-site Salary: MXN 28,000 per month + Statutory benefits ⸻ Position Objective Supervise, organize, and optimize Maké Bakery’s production area, ensuring product quality, standardization, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency. Lead the production team with a results-oriented, disciplined, and continuous-improvement mindset. ⸻ Key Responsibilities * Daily supervision of morning and afternoon production shifts (approximately 25 people). * Ensure proper preparation and timely dispatch of all products: cakes, cookies, brownies, and other desserts. * Guarantee fulfillment of scheduled orders, in-store sales, and deliveries via platforms such as Rappi. * Design and implement production logs, process controls, and operational manuals. * Supervise quality standards, cleanliness, and food safety within the production area. * Apply controls for waste, yield, and recipe costing. * Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Administration, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure seamless integrated operations. * Identify opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives focused on efficiency and productivity. * Maintain order, discipline, and effective communication within the team. ⸻ Required Profile * Professional degree in Food Engineering, Gastronomy, Business Administration, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as Production Manager or Production Supervisor in bakeries, pastry shops, or the food industry. * Solid knowledge of: * Recipe and process standardization. * Waste control and cost management. * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Ability to lead large teams with firmness, organization, and a results-driven approach. * Capacity for direct floor-level supervision and on-the-spot problem solving. * Clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and decision-making under pressure. ⸻ What We Offer * Job stability in a growing company. * Positive work environment and collaborative leadership. * Opportunity to implement processes and drive key operational improvements. * Integration into a team committed to quality and excellence.
