Job Summary: We are seeking an Electronics and Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of machinery at a chocolate manufacturing company. Location: Alamo Industrial, Jalisco. **Requirements** * Diploma in Electronics and Industrial Maintenance or related field. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. * Minimum 5 years of experience in the food industry. **Technical Knowledge:**\- Pneumatics \- Hydraulics \- Electricity \- Air conditioning \- Chillers \- Pneumatic compressors \- Stainless steel welding \- Pumping and heating systems \- Interpretation of diagrams \- Plumbing \- Mechanical transmission systems. **Competencies and Qualities:**\- Sense of urgency and analytical ability \- Workplace safety awareness and problem-solving skills \- Orderliness and teamwork. **Job Responsibilities** * Ensure execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on company machinery and equipment—mechanical or electrical. Guarantee that tools and materials are in proper condition for operation. Request spare parts and components to maintain adequate inventory levels for assigned tasks. Complete required logs and records. **Activities** * Ensure compliance with the preventive maintenance schedule. * Execute assigned corrective maintenance work orders promptly and accurately to minimize operational downtime. * Coordinate maintenance priorities with immediate supervisor based on equipment and spare parts availability, as well as urgent requirements. * Prepare material requisitions according to area needs to ensure timely maintenance execution and submit them to the procurement department upon prior authorization. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the workplace (workshop) and ensure tools are properly organized and maintained. * Liaise with suppliers to assess area requirements, verify quantities and quality of spare parts or equipment for effective installation and operational use. * Prepare assigned reports and submit them periodically to the immediate supervisor. * Support achievement of departmental KPIs. * Inform the immediate supervisor and production supervisor of any issues causing delays, equipment unavailability due to complications, major failures, etc., to enable timely decisions and actions regarding equipment reactivation timelines. * Adhere to established safety measures to prevent accidents, including wearing personal protective equipment and observing all safety signage. * Follow applicable company policies and procedures for the work area, ensuring full compliance at all times. * Ensure accurate completion of forms to comply with the food safety and quality management system. * Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) based on the food safety system, thereby preventing risks and ensuring food safety. * Actively participate in training and development events organized by the company. * Participate in the established performance evaluation program and support continuous professional improvement. * Assist with any tasks or activities requested, related either to one’s own role or to broader company operations, as needed. * Support adherence to the assigned maintenance department budget through efficient use of spare parts. * **Additional Benefits and Perks** * Savings fund * Grocery vouchers * Opportunities for internal career growth * Collaborative and dynamic work environment.
