Job Summary: Develops robust injection molding processes using scientific techniques and provides support to the production department. Key Responsibilities: 1. Development of robust injection molding processes. 2. Support to the production department to maintain KPIs. 3. With a presence in more than 40 countries, Molex offers a full range of connectivity products, services, and solutions for the data communications, medical, industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics industries. **What You’ll Do** * Maintain a safe work environment (5S). * Work with a focus on PBM culture. * Compliance with the quality system (Audits and LPA Findings). * Reading and interpretation of customer products and drawings. * Problem solving focused on the 8D methodology. * Develop and cross-train templates (Develop talent). * Develop work instructions and share lessons learned with assembly technicians. * Document injection molding process management (PFMEA, worksheets, process sheets). * Provide support to the production department to keep KPIs within target. * Diagnose and resolve issues with injection tools and/or machines. * Assign tools to injection machines based on technical capabilities. **Who You Are** * Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and/or certification. * Experience in projects to develop process sheets in the molding area. * Knowledge perspective. * SPQ optimization. * Problem-solving skills. * Organized and detail-oriented. * Practical (to develop talent). * Capable of handling multiple tasks and concurrent deadlines. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Cycle counts, inventories. * SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency. * Deliver presentations in PowerPoint. * Personnel management. **What Would Give You an Edge** * Fundamental systematic injection molding.
