Representa la función de Gestión de Calidad de Proveedores en materia de apoyo técnico, lidera la contención y resolución de problemas de calidad de proveedores con los fabricantes y comunica el estado de piezas/proveedores no conformes en todos los programas. Evalúa el desempeño de los proveedores, impulsa mejoras y acciones correctivas mediante el proceso SCAR (Informe de Acción Correctiva del Proveedor). **FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES** * Nivel superior para definir el apoyo técnico en el desarrollo e implementación de estrategias de base de proveedores que impulsen mejoras en la selección, desarrollo y aprovechamiento de proveedores a través de los programas de clientes para mejorar la calidad y reducir costos. * Asegurar que el apoyo técnico en el área correspondiente de Gestión de Calidad de Proveedores se cumpla y cumpla con los requisitos de los clientes internos y externos. * Brindar actualizaciones periódicas al Gerente de Calidad sobre la ejecución de la estrategia. * Brindar apoyo a las actividades de NPI (Nuevos Productos Introducidos) participando, según sea necesario, en el proceso AQP (Programa Avanzado de Calificación). * Asegurar que todos los problemas críticos de proveedores en producción se resuelvan oportunamente y que se implementen las acciones correctivas. * Definir y desarrollar los planes y métodos de inspección adecuados, y dirigir a los auditores de inspección de recepción. * Definir y desarrollar los procesos de inspección mediante ayudas de inspección y guías de instrucción. * Asegurar que se realice una evaluación continua de los proveedores en sitio. Esto se logrará utilizando la información recopilada en recepción. * Inspección, MRB (Junta de Revisión de Materiales), devoluciones de clientes, base de datos de SCAR (Informe de Acción Correctiva del Proveedor) y esfuerzos de coordinación con las celdas de trabajo de los clientes. El desempeño se reportará internamente, al proveedor y, cuando corresponda, al cliente. * Supervisar e impulsar los problemas de PPM (Piezas por Millón) con la base de proveedores, además de ayudarlos a obtener la certificación “Dock to Stock” con Jabil (de acuerdo con el sistema de desempeño de proveedores). * Revisar todas las discrepancias de proveedores. Coordinar y dar seguimiento a los esfuerzos de acción correctiva/preventiva. * Comunicar proactivamente información o problemas que puedan afectar los costos del producto o su capacidad de fabricación a todos los departamentos afectados. * Brindar conocimientos y asistencia en la implementación y mantenimiento de Mejoras y Optimización de Procesos, centrándose en metodologías proactivas con la base de proveedores. * Liderar el proceso SCAR – Informe de Acción Correctiva/Preventiva del Proveedor para la resolución de problemas y la mejora continua, incluyendo análisis crítico de estudios de DOE (Diseño de Experimentos), CPK (Índice de Capacidad de Proceso) y Gauge R&R (Repetibilidad y Reproducibilidad) realizados por los proveedores. * Cumplir con todas las normas y regulaciones de seguridad y salud asociadas a este puesto y según lo indique el supervisor. * Cumplir y seguir todos los procedimientos establecidos en la política de seguridad de la empresa. * Puede desempeñar otras funciones y responsabilidades según se le asignen. **RESPONSABILIDADES DE GESTIÓN Y SUPERVISIÓN** * Normalmente reporta a la gerencia.
