Job Summary: Grupo Vanguardia is seeking a Cashier to manage transactions accurately, ensure excellent customer service, and properly handle income and expenses. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently. 2. Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner. 3. Prepare daily cash reports and report anomalies. We are looking for: CASHIER Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Job Objective: To manage cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring excellent customer service and proper handling of income and expenses. What will you do? • Process sales, returns, and payments in the point-of-sale system. • Handle cash and perform opening and closing cash counts and reconciliations. • Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, resolving inquiries and providing assistance. • Issue receipts and payment confirmations, and ensure proper documentation of all transactions. • Prepare daily cash reports and report any anomalies or discrepancies. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer shopping experience. • Maintain a clean and organized cashier area. What are we looking for? • Minimum 1 year of prior experience in similar roles or in customer service. • Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proactive attitude, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Preferred experience in the automotive sector or a sales environment.
