Summary: The HR Intern supports the human resources function by providing administrative assistance, working on long-term projects, and gaining knowledge about the industry. Highlights: 1. Support HR functions like talent acquisition, learning, and employee relations. 2. Gain knowledge about Plexus' industry, infrastructure, and business. 3. Manage special projects and present results to leadership. **Purpose Statement:** The Human Resources (HR) Intern will support the human resources function in a site or business unit. They will also gain and apply knowledge about Plexus' industry, infrastructure and business during the assignment. The assignment could support one or more functions within the human resources function. **Key Job Accountabilities:** * Work closely with and assist in providing administrative support to the HR team, handling daily tasks as ell as assist in accomplishing long\-term projects. * Work closely with HR team in functional areas such as: talent acquisition, learning and development and employee relations. * Assist in correspondence, research, and other HR matters under the direction and supervision of a Human Resources leader and/or HR staff. * Manage special projects as assigned and present Internship results to leadership. **Education/Experience Qualifications:** * Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field for entire duration of internship. **Other Qualifications:** * Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills * Strong communication skills **Physical Requirements:** * Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment.
