Job Summary: An engineer who defines strategy, designs and manages production processes, leads plant and general services maintenance, and ensures regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Manage suppliers and budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance Encompasses engineering activities focused on defining strategy, designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for efficient and economical mass production of semi-finished and finished goods. Provides guidance to the product design area on technical specifications that best leverage equipment and manufacturing techniques, while simultaneously ensuring compliance with external regulations. Scope of the Position Plant Maintenance (Infrastructure) Lead and ensure integrated management of general services supporting operations, guaranteeing safe working environments through: * Ensuring consistent compliance with quality and safety standards, legal requirements, and best practices in services such as pest control, traditional and structural cleaning, landscaping and infrastructure (buildings) maintenance. * Efficient coordination of suppliers and resources, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and alignment with current and future operational needs. * Leading execution of infrastructure changes at the plant according to business needs, ensuring optimal solutions through risk, cost, and execution time analysis. **Key Responsibilities** * Define, coordinate, and ensure effective delivery of operational support services aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities. Identify process improvement opportunities, performance indicators, and service models to increase efficiency, reduce deviations, and strengthen service reliability—leveraging metrics, risk analysis, and internal customer feedback. * Define, supervise, and manage the department budget; procurement and payment of services (Water, Electricity, Natural Gas, and Biomass), consumables, materials, and tools for the department. * Manage end-to-end relationships with service providers, ensuring service levels, performance, and regulatory compliance, while fostering long-term partnerships, continuous improvement, and productivity. * Develop and implement maintenance plans for facility areas, systems, and infrastructure equipment. * Ensure availability of facility maintenance documentation (equipment and area monitoring routines, preventive maintenance plans, procedures, and forms) to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable quality, legal, regulatory, and best practice standards, mitigating risks and supporting audits related to legal requirements, quality, safety, etc. * Conduct root cause investigations and analyses to resolve failures and prevent recurrence; develop and implement effective action plans and improvements. **Experience** * General services and facility maintenance experience. Experience in identifying, selecting, and managing general services and facility maintenance providers, including procurement of materials and tools. * Experience in team building and in selection and management of facility maintenance personnel. Experience in problem solving and failure investigation using structured methodologies. * Experience in developing documentation for a facility maintenance system (development of procedures, monitoring routines, preventive maintenance routines for equipment, formats, and reports).
