ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
General Position Objective: Timely execute, record, and control the company's financial and administrative operations, ensuring data accuracy in the accounting system and strict compliance with internal processes and basic tax obligations.
Responsibilities:
* Enter income, expense, and journal entries into the company's accounting system.
* Daily review and reconciliation of bank statements against accounting records.
* Verify validity of digital tax receipts (CFDI) from suppliers and issue customer invoices.
* Review purchase supporting documentation, schedule supplier payments, and file receipts.
* Monitor customer accounts receivable, record payment complements, and report overdue balances.
* Validate and record verification of travel allowances, petty cash, and corporate cards.
* Maintain an organized, up-to-date, and digitized archive of tax and legal documents for audits.
4\. Required Profile
* **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting.
* **Experience**: Minimum 1 year in accounting or similar administrative roles.
* Intermediate proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, logical formulas).
* Experience with accounting systems (e.g., CONTPAQi, Aspel COI, SAP Business One, Oracle).
* Basic knowledge of local tax laws and the SAT portal (invoicing, bulk XML downloads).
