**Position: Operations Manager** **Location:** Industrial zone, Guadalajara, Jalisco **Schedule:** Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (availability for occasional overtime) **Salary:** Discussed during interview \+ statutory benefits **Gender:** Indistinct **Reports to:** General Manager **Direct reports:** * Programmer * Warehouse Supervisor * Production Supervisor * Design Supervisor * Quality Manager **Position Objective** Coordinate, optimize, and supervise all production, logistics, and technical support operations of the company, ensuring compliance with key performance indicators, continuous improvement, internal customer service, and cost reduction, contributing to business profitability. **Key Responsibilities** * Approve production planning and material supply scheduling. * Evaluate daily production and generate weekly and monthly performance reports. * Coordinate warehouse, logistics, projects, and industrial design. * Provide technical/commercial support to sales representatives. * Accompany field visits to physically review project requirements. * Control internal project costs, inputs, and materials. * Supervise the development of industrial designs and furniture proposals. * Approve preventive and corrective equipment maintenance. * Evaluate and implement operational improvements and production methodologies. * Analyze and monitor key performance indicators. * Lead the operations team, set clear goals, and provide continuous feedback. * Participate in strategic decisions regarding purchases, investments, and new business lines. **Key Performance Indicators** * Profit margin per project (%) * Waste percentage (%) * Rework percentage (%) * Production effectiveness (%) * Operational expense control **Desired Profile** **Age:** 35 to 50 years **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field **Experience:** Minimum 5 years in similar positions, preferably in metalworking, manufacturing, or furniture industries **Technical Skills:** * Production and project management * Project costing and budgetary control * Management software and advanced Excel * Reading blueprints and technical specifications * Occupational health and safety * **Personal Competencies:** * Leadership and effective communication * Strategic thinking and decision-making * Planning, organization, and analysis * Initiative, results orientation, and customer focus * Adaptability and service mindset * **Other Requirements** * Availability for occasional local and international travel * Willingness to engage in operational details and lead by example * Previous experience implementing operational policies and structures will be valued Type of position: Full-time Salary: $70,000\.00 \- $90,000\.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
