**Job Description** ------------------------- Develop and promote safety and health among plant personnel, define with the responsible person of each business sector the programs to be implemented, as well as the actions to be taken and follow\-up to prevent incidents and loss in operational continuity. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Conduct risk analyses in business units. * Selection and management of PPE changes according to risk analysis. * Monthly inspection of tools and equipment. * Training personnel on safety, health, and environment. * Preparation of accident reports and compliance with action plans. **Position Challenges** -------------------- * Prevent incidents by promoting a safety and health culture. * Detection of unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and near\-misses (completion of green cards). * Create action plans to maintain a Zero Incident Rate. * Ensure complete documentation on safety matters. * Use and handling of fire extinguishers. **Required Skills and Knowledge** ------------------------------------------ * General: o Education: Nursing or related field o Language: English (basic) * Required Experience: o 2 to 3 years in safety and health * Required Knowledge: o First aid knowledge o Knowledge of regulations o Hold DC\-3 certification (desirable) * Critical Competencies: o Sense of urgency o Initiative and leadership o Teamwork o Service attitude**Relationships** -------------- * Internal o Safety and Health Advisor o Supervisor * External o Contractors o Customers**Diversity and Inclusion at CEMEX** ----------------------------------- At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and do business.
