Join our team to continue building our success story together. **Job Description** -------------------------- As a Hostess, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, seating them at tables or in the lounge, and ensuring facility and service quality. This is an entry-level position with a focus on excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining dining room cleanliness and order. **Job Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- * Greet guests upon arrival, making them feel welcomed and appreciated. * Seat guests at tables or in lounges efficiently and courteously. * Take reservations by phone and manage the reservation book. * Maintain an accurate waitlist, ensuring guests are seated promptly. * Assist in maintaining general cleanliness and appearance of the dining room and entrance. * Work closely with servers and other staff to address guest needs and resolve any issues. * Communicate effectively with guests, ensuring their needs are met to the best of our ability. * Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned. **Work Experience** ----------------------- * Entry-level position with limited prior training or relevant work experience * Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks * Work is prescribed and completed with minimal autonomy * Works under close supervision or clearly defined procedures * Has 0 to 1 year of work experience **Competencies** ---------------- Interpersonal skills Functional job knowledge Leadership Problem solving Teamwork and collaboration Accountability Business acumen Advocating for guest needs Self-development Impact**Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. **Certifications** ------------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
