We seek a Failure Analysis Engineer with a deeply technical profile, capable of identifying the root cause of failures in complex electronic boards. · Your Mission on the Team: You will be the expert responsible for performing root cause analysis at the component level on high-end units (Server Boards). Your objective is to maintain the health of our production lines by reducing the bonepile and providing critical technical feedback to SMT and assembly processes. · Key Responsibilities: Advanced Debugging: Perform precise diagnostics on PCBAs failing functional tests (ICT, FCT, BSI), tracing failures down to specific components (VRM, IC, CPU, resistors). Schematic Interpretation: Expert reading of schematics, Gerber files, and board views to trace signal paths, voltages, and frequencies. Measurement Instrumentation: Professional use of oscilloscopes, bench multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies for analog and digital signal validation. Inventory Management (Bonepile): Control and reduce defective product inventory, manage unit aging, and ensure a consistent repair flow. Test Environment: Execute diagnostics in a Linux environment (basic commands) for server testing and data logging in the SFC system. · Ideal Candidate Profile (Requirements): Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (degree or letter of completion). Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry, specifically in debugging or failure analysis roles. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics. Advanced schematic reading skills. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards. Experience with SMT, PTH, and BGA soldering technologies. Language: Intermediate or Advanced conversational English (able to participate in technical meetings, read datasheets, and write detailed reports). · Key Competencies: Deep analytical capability (Root Cause Analysis).
