Coordinate installation of tunnels, mulching, plot marking, and trellising as applicable. Execute plantings according to crop/system and organizational plan provided by the Lead Supervisor. * Monitor compliance with food safety, occupational safety, and social compliance rules and recommendations. Track employee adherence to current Driscoll’s regulations and policies. * Monitor proper operation of agricultural machinery and equipment. Track preventive and corrective maintenance of agricultural machinery and equipment. Ensure staff are trained for proper use of tools and machinery. * General responsibilities Validate and coordinate organization and cleanliness of materials, tools, work areas, and common areas (dining areas, warehouses, restrooms, offices, parking lots). Coordinate inventory of materials, tools, and equipment. * Supervise irrigation and pesticide application execution Ensure timely and proper execution in accordance with the weekly irrigation and pesticide application plan. Supervise pest and disease monitoring activities. Prepare application reports for fruit entry into cooler. Coordinate calibration of personnel and application equipment. Deliver prescriptions to irrigation and pesticide application teams.
