Position Summary: Provide support in store operational activities, including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service to meet performance metrics. Key Highlights: 1. Provide support for in-store floor operational activities by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to ensure proper execution and achievement of assigned store’s operational and commercial metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper fronting and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure correct product placement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and price, to deliver excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures; also handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Correctly execute cash register transactions using cash or cards, and process returns in compliance with cash register payment policies to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
