Participation in strategic and continuous improvement projects **Position Title:** Purchaser **Position Objective:** Ensure timely and efficient supply of (indirect) materials and services for the areas under coverage, generating value through cost-benefit procurement negotiations, regulatory compliance, and adherence to SIGMA policies, thereby ensuring operational continuity at assigned sites. **Relevant Fields of Study:** Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related disciplines. **Requirements:** Bachelor's degree holder Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge Effective organization of documents and time management. Optional experience Procurement or planning English B1 level ERP system experience **Skills:** Internal customer orientation Assertive communication and expectation management Collaboration in multidisciplinary teams Sense of urgency with strict adherence to policies Conflict resolution focused on service delivery and compliance Focus on efficiency and continuous improvement Adaptability to systems and projects Regulatory compliance management (REPSE and contracts) **Key Responsibilities:** Timely fulfillment of material and service procurement requests from assigned departments (e.g., maintenance, quality, warehouse, security, human capital, among others), in accordance with established policies Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers aligned with market conditions, aiming to generate economic and service benefits for the organization. Manage urgent procurement needs while ensuring adherence to internal policies and processes. Administer, manage, and develop the supplier portfolio, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and REPSE requirements. Monitor consignment inventories and ensure their closure per established processes. Participate in strategic or continuous improvement projects. Position Objective Process and execute procurement requests for materials and services from various users of national contracts, evaluating and analyzing quotations and budgets in compliance with Alfa’s and Sigma’s established policies and procedures.
