BUYER** **JOB OBJECTIVE:** Enter purchase orders into the system respecting established timelines, validation of costs and credit terms **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Place material purchase orders in the system for the acquisition of indirect materials and services. · Request quotations according to requested specifications, identifying required suppliers to obtain the best purchasing conditions for the company. · Keep supplier documentation up to date according to management system requirements · Maintain updated supplier evaluations · Provide follow-up on deliveries of direct or indirect materials to the plant and its subsidiaries, communicating effectively with various warehouses within the company to ensure receipt at each site · Notify involved users electronically or by phone of material arrivals to ensure users receive the requested goods or services. · Ensure purchase orders are fully closed in the system, verifying that invoices have received confirmation for payment so that payment processes are correctly generated. **REQUIREMENTS:** · Completed bachelor's degree in International Trade or related field.
