Become our **Java Analyst / Developer!** The Java Developer for Support is responsible for handling, analyzing, and resolving tickets related to incidents, requirements, and enhancements in Java-based applications. This role requires quickly identifying root causes, implementing efficient solutions, and ensuring operational continuity of the systems under their responsibility. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and document findings and implemented solutions. **Responsibilities and Authorities** **Required Academic Background:** * University degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Certification in Java programming (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer) is valued but not mandatory. **Experience** * Minimum 3 years of experience in this role, providing support for Java applications. * Experience in banking environments (desirable) * End-to-end control, tracking, and development of customer requirements—from analysis, design, construction, testing, to release. **Key Responsibilities:** * Handle and resolve assigned Java application support tickets, meeting defined SLAs. * Analyze the origin of incidents and propose temporary and/or permanent fixes. * Document implemented solutions and steps taken to resolve tickets. * Perform post-solution validation testing in development or QA environments. * Participate in follow-up and status update meetings with support and development teams. * Escalate critical or recurring tickets to the technical lead or application architect when necessary. * Propose improvements for optimizing and refactoring legacy applications. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Required Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in Java programming. * Knowledge and hands-on experience with application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic). * Experience troubleshooting bugs, analyzing logs, tracing exceptions, and diagnosing Java applications. * Familiarity with relational databases (Informix, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic SQL proficiency. * Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN). * Knowledge of associated web technologies (JSP, Servlets, HTML, XML). * Ability to understand and work with legacy applications and inherited code from earlier Java versions. * Desirable: experience with automation scripts (bash, batch, or PowerShell). **Required Soft Skills:** * Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation. * Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple support tickets. * Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and reporting solutions. * Service-oriented attitude with focus on internal user/client satisfaction. * Teamwork and collaboration with QA, Infrastructure, and Technical Support teams. * Proactivity in escalating high-impact or complex issues. **Additional Information** **We Offer:** * Punctuality Bonus * Attendance Bonus * Meal Allowance * Grocery Vouchers * Statutory Benefits * Access to the Stefanini Academy Training Platform * Access to the Mentoring Platform * Discount agreements with various institutions Are you looking for a place where your ideas shine?
