Req ID: 77056 **Description** --------------- **Responsibilities** -------------------- JOB OBJECTIVE – Level 2 Calibration Engineer * Perform calibration of measurement and test equipment, verifying that methods, intervals, and acceptance criteria comply with process requirements and applicable standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, IATF 16949, ANSI/ESD S20\.20). * Provide technical support to Engineering and Production regarding proper selection, application, and verification of measurement instruments and test systems, ensuring they possess appropriate capabilities (range, resolution, uncertainty). * Monitor the measurement system analysis schedule and update the database (MSA, GR\&R, deviation control). * Determine metrology and reliability requirements that new measurement equipment and systems must meet to ensure compliance with internal or customer specifications. * Develop or improve metrological evaluation techniques, including uncertainty analysis, performance evaluation, drift studies, and tools enabling timely identification of potential failures in instruments, methods, or measurement processes. * Issue technical recommendations regarding selection, replacement, adjustment, or adaptation of measurement equipment and standards, based on performance, calibration history, reliability, and process needs. * Propose improvements to measurement and control processes, including adjustments to the calibration system design, optimization of calibration intervals, integration of new technologies, or redefinition of methods to enhance reliability and efficiency. * Participate in continuous improvement activities, procedure updates, internal/external audits, and maintenance of the Calibration area’s quality management system. * Liaise with suppliers for sending measurement and test equipment for calibration, as well as for technical support. **Required Experience and Skills** ---------------------------------- JOB PROFILE Academic Background * Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Applied Physics, or related field. Language * English: Intermediate level (reading certificates, technical specifications and standards, manuals, communicating with suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and users from other sites).
