Your role will be crucial in minimizing risks, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement road, industrial, and asset safety policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices for cargo transportation. * Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accidents, speeding incidents, unauthorized stops, driver hours-of-service, and drug testing compliance. * Design and execute effective training programs for tractor-trailer drivers, covering road safety, defensive driving, traffic regulations, and best practices for rest and hours-of-service. * Investigate and analyze incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and proposing corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence. * Collaborate closely with Logistics, Operations, and Human Resources departments to integrate safety into all business facets. * Conduct periodic audits and inspections of facilities and transport units to ensure compliance with safety regulations. * Stay up to date on current traffic and transportation laws and regulations, ensuring fleet compliance with all legal requirements. * Promote a strong, participatory safety culture among all staff, encouraging open communication and individual accountability. * Manage and supervise fatigue control and hours-of-service programs for drivers. * Coordinate implementation and follow-up of drug testing programs as a preventive measure. **What Are We Looking For?** * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in similar roles, with a strong focus on road, industrial, and asset safety—preferably within the cargo transportation sector. * **Knowledge:** Solid understanding of cargo transportation operations, including management of tractor-trailer drivers. * **Analytical Skills:** Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret safety-related data (accidents, speeding, etc.) and generate clear, concise reports. * **Training Skills:** Experience in designing and delivering effective training, especially for drivers. * **Results-Oriented:** Focus on continuous improvement and achieving targets for incident and accident reduction. * **Proactivity and Leadership:** Ability to identify potential risks and propose innovative solutions, as well as positively influence driver behavior. * **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels. * **Organization:** Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities. **Mandatory Requirements:** * University degree in Engineering, Administration, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in road, industrial, or asset safety. * In-depth knowledge of Mexico’s legal and regulatory framework for transportation. * Proficiency in safety management indicators. * Experience training operational personnel. **Desirable (but not mandatory!):** * Certifications in industrial or road safety. * Familiarity with specialized fleet or safety management software. * Experience in the food industry. **What Do We Offer?** * Opportunity to join a solid and growing company. * A professional and collaborative work environment. * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Professional development and ongoing training. * The chance to make a real impact on the safety of our operations.
