The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all operations related to the handling, maintenance, and control of tires for our fleet, ensuring resource optimization and operational safety. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency of our transportation operations. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Personnel Management:** Supervise, lead, and motivate the team responsible for tire operations, ensuring compliance with established goals and procedures. This includes task assignment, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. * **Tire Status Tracking System:** Implement and manage the tire status tracking system for inventory and condition control. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of tires in use, in storage, and retired. * **Wear Analysis:** Monitor and analyze fleet tire wear, identifying patterns, causes, and proposing corrective actions to extend tire life and optimize costs. Conduct periodic inspections to assess tire condition. * **Inventory Management:** Manage tire inventory, ensuring availability and minimizing losses. Maintain detailed records of tire entries, exits, and movements. * **Maintenance and Repair:** Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective tire maintenance activities, including rotations, alignment, balancing, and minor repairs, in collaboration with workshop teams or external providers. * **Cost Optimization:** Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs associated with the tire lifecycle through efficient management, appropriate supplier selection, and implementation of best practices. * **Operational Safety:** Ensure all tires meet safety standards and current regulations, contributing to accident prevention and transport efficiency. * **Reporting and Documentation:** Prepare periodic reports on inventory status, wear analysis, costs, and other relevant metrics.
