Once Observatorio in Lomas De Angelópolis II - San Andrés Cholula, Puebla** ### **Job Title:** **Barista** ### **Department:** Kitchen ### **Position Objective:** Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages, interacting professionally and courteously with customers, taking orders, and managing transactions ### **Requirements:** * Education: High school diploma completed * Experience: Minimum 2 years in restaurant kitchen or café * Age: 18 to 25 years old * Gender: Indistinct ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages, providing exceptional customer service to create a positive experience * Maintain and clean work area and operate bar equipment * Accurately and efficiently take orders and manage point-of-sale transactions and cash handling * Offer recommendations and resolve questions about the menu * Ensure beverages are prepared according to recipes and quality standards * Customize drinks according to customer preferences or dietary needs * Perform opening and closing duties such as organizing and restocking supplies ### **PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:** * Similar roles related to beverage preparation in cafes * Performing physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting weights ### **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE IN:** * Beverage preparation * Beverage decoration ### **Skills and Abilities:** * Prepare coffee-based drinks, teas, and other products following restaurant recipes and standards * Properly operate espresso machines, grinders, steamers, and other bar equipment * Service-oriented attitude and courteous customer interaction * Responsibility, honesty, and punctuality ### **Schedule:** * Morning shift: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Evening shift: 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ### **Salary:** $7,500 monthly ### **Additional Information:** The position requires commitment, attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude.
