Job Summary: We are seeking a diesel mechanic for preventive and corrective maintenance of trucks/tractor-trailers, with experience in specific engines. Key Highlights: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel trucks/tractor-trailers 2. Knowledge of Cummins, Detroit, Isuzu, and Mercedes-Benz engines 3. Adjustments, repairs, and replacement of truck/tractor-trailer parts REQUIREMENTS 18 years of age or older. Primary education with certificate or higher. Flexible schedule availability and willingness to respond to roadside assistance. Ability to drive a standard automobile. Valid driver's license. RESPONSIBILITIES Preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel truck/tractor-trailer engines: Kenworth T800, Freightliner Cascadia, International 4300, Isuzu Elf500, Volkswagen Delivery. Brake pad replacement, wheel seal replacement, preventive maintenance (fuel filter replacement, valve adjustment on engine head). Knowledge of Cummins, Detroit, Isuzu, and Mercedes-Benz engines. Adjustments, repairs, and part replacement for diesel truck/tractor-trailer engines: Transmission disassembly and assembly, replacement of rotor chamber and air bags.
