




Job Summary: The CCTV Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing video surveillance systems to ensure the security of facilities and people. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and configuration of security cameras and recording systems. 2. Preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV equipment. 3. Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues in security systems. The CCTV Technician is responsible for **installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing video surveillance systems** to ensure the security of facilities, properties, and people. Works with cameras, recorders, management software, and networks associated with security systems. **Main Responsibilities** * Install security cameras and recording systems (DVR/NVR). * Configure and adjust cameras, lenses, lighting, and viewing angles. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CCTV equipment. * Diagnose and resolve failures in cameras, cables, recorders, and software. * Manage video storage and backups. * Coordinate with clients or supervisors regarding camera placement and coverage. * Document installations, maintenance activities, and system modifications. **Requirements** * Knowledge of CCTV systems, IP networks, and structured cabling. * Experience with DVRs, NVRs, analog and digital cameras. * Ability to read electrical and installation blueprints. * Capability to diagnose and resolve technical problems. * Strong communication skills and customer service orientation. * Desired: Driver’s license and experience working at heights for installations. **Competencies** * Analytical thinking and attention to detail. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure. * Basic knowledge of security principles and local regulations.
