We seek your expertise as an HVAC ENGINEER: RESPONSIBILITIES: HVAC Engineer responsible for designing, engineering, installing, diagnosing, supervising, troubleshooting, air balancing, equipment selection, and preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems in pharmaceutical industrial plants, including air handling units, packaged units, mini-splits, air extraction\-injection systems, precision units, and chillers. \* Develop technical specifications for HVAC equipment \* Design and optimize temperature and humidity control systems \* Install and repair HVAC air handling units (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and refrigeration systems; assembly and disassembly \* Knowledge of common HVAC system cleaning and inspection tasks \* Conduct inspections, diagnose problems, and possess knowledge to repair them \* Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems \* Knowledge of good refrigeration practices and refrigerant handling \* Perform operational testing, commissioning, start-up, and adjustments on HVAC systems \* Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into building designs \* Experience supervising HVAC system maintenance activities, as well as construction work, planning, and execution of ventilation system and filter installations \* Experience managing climate control projects from conception through commissioning \* Experience preparing construction documentation such as design bases, drawings, calculation reports, item catalogs, and material specifications \* Experience controlling industrial process variables such as pressure, temperature, humidity, pH, and instrumentation for measuring, reading, and interpreting these variables \* Operation and control of electric motors, including various starting methods \* Exhaust fans: Knowledge of correct procedures for cleaning blades, housings, and filters, and lubricating components such as bearings and belts \* Operation and maintenance of steam, chilled water, and condensate equipment, including control valves, pressure regulating valves, steam traps, piping, condensate systems, and peripheral and service-supply equipment for air handling units, packaged units, and mini-splits \* Refrigerants and their handling; leak prevention and recovery \* Development of preventive and corrective maintenance programs and reports \* Troubleshooting industrial equipment, scheduling future maintenance tasks, conducting periodic inspections, and managing spare parts inventory \* Administrative development, management, and handling of budgets \* Interpretation of ductwork, ventilation system, piping, mechanical structure, and single-line diagrams WE SEEK: \* Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related Engineering degree \* Minimum 3 years of experience \* HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system design (air handling units, packaged units, precision units, mini-splits, air extractors) for industrial buildings; highly desirable experience in pharmaceutical and food industries \* Thermal load calculations to determine and select appropriate HVAC equipment required for industrial areas, as well as to verify that existing equipment meets required heating, ventilation, or cooling functions \* Knowledge of air balancing, and positive/negative pressure management in areas \* Ductwork (rectangular and circular) and piping design and calculation, piping and ductwork routing \* Familiarity with ASHRAE and SMACNA standards for HVAC system design \* Proficiency in AutoCAD WE OFFER: \* A collaborative and dynamic work environment \* Professional development opportunities \* Competitive salary \* Benefits exceeding statutory requirements \* Diverse projects in the field of electricity Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $30,000.00 \- $33,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * When was your most recent update on regulatory standards?
