Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service and proper adherence to processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize both damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, employee misrecommendation, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees advise customers and utilize all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and development opportunities to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training areas are identified. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among team members and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report during each reporting period to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and follow up on area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for direct reports per AutoZone procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
