What Profile Are We Looking For? We seek a profile as unique and valuable as a starfish in an ocean of talent: Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, logistics, or related fields—ideally within a maritime or international transportation environment where you have developed coordination and operational control skills. **Academic background:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or related fields. Specific knowledge of the maritime sector is a great plus! **Conversational Intermediate English (Mandatory):** You must communicate effectively with captains and international clients, ensuring all interactions are fluent and effective. Availability and flexibility to adapt to operational dynamics and respond promptly to unforeseen situations. Ability to work under pressure and maintain continuous, effective communication with the team to achieve objectives. **Problem-solving skills and adaptability:** In this role, every day is different, and being prepared to respond swiftly is essential. What Will You Do Daily? As our Boarding Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring that each vessel’s operations proceed without interruption. This includes: **Coordinate and submit requests for vessel arrivals:** Ensure each vessel has the necessary permits and documentation for arrival. **Plan and manage vessel berthing:** Supervise timely and proper berthing, ensuring port authorities and operations teams are aligned with the plan. **Maintain constant communication with the captain and authorities:** Serve as the direct liaison between the vessel’s captain and port authorities, facilitating smooth arrival and departure processes. **Monitor reefer units with alarms:** In case of alarms on refrigerated units, you must intervene immediately to protect cargo, coordinating required repairs or adjustments. **Generate detailed arrival and departure reports:** Maintain records of each movement, documenting every arrival and departure—critical for decision-making and operational analysis. **Benefits of Joining Our Crew:** Be part of projects that push the boundaries of the maritime sector.
