Essential Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Education Sciences, Teaching, Education, Basic Education, Educational Innovation and Pedagogy, Intercultural Education, Intercultural Primary Education, Primary Education, Indigenous Primary Education, Bilingual Intercultural Indigenous Primary Education, Primary Education for Indigenous Communities, Bachelor’s Degree in Teacher Training for Basic Education: Historical and Cultural Heritage of Mexico, Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual (Mayan–Spanish) Teacher Training for Basic Education: Historical Heritage, Educational Intervention, Educational Intervention with Focus on Youth and Adults, Pedagogy, Indigenous Primary Education, Bilingual Intercultural Primary Education, or Educational Processes. * Professional degree certificate (mandatory) * Minimum 2 years of experience as an elementary school teacher. * Basic English proficiency. Job Responsibilities: **Design, plan, and implement teaching activities** * Use academic tools designed for classroom instruction, both for classroom management and instructional rigor. * Design integrated classroom experiences ensuring learning for every student. * Teach and sustain the SER schools’ school culture by intentionally implementing required routines and systems. * Ensure high academic rigor across all subjects through effective internalization. * Administer scheduled assessments punctually, per the network’s guidelines. * Actively participate in all trainings designed by the SER Academic Team and keep learning alive by directly applying it in your school. * Adhere to the work schedules and deadlines established by the academic calendar. **Maintain a culture of high academic rigor and values** * Maintain and promote healthy interpersonal relationships with students, the academic team, and the entire educational community. * Follow up with families and students regarding compliance with the Commitment to Excellence; convene and participate in parent–teacher interviews to strengthen the school’s strategies for students and families (at least two interviews per academic cycle). * Participate in one-on-one meetings with your school leader (or instructional coach, in the case of elementary school) aimed at improving teaching skills through implementation of various SER strategies. **Academic outcomes** * Attend weekly data meetings with your school leader (or instructional coach, in the case of elementary school) to conduct in-depth analysis of student progress, identify gaps, and close them. * Attend feedback meetings with your school leader to maintain effective practices and improve teaching strategies as guided by your leader. * Honestly record and monitor students’ academic outcomes. * Plan strategies to support students facing academic difficulties and raise learning outcomes. * Develop and implement your block action plan based on data obtained from assessments.
