Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Analyst for a regulated lending app, focused on data collection, processing, analysis, modeling, and strategic reporting across multiple departments. Key Highlights: 1. Integration and automation of data from diverse sources 2. Generation of insights to improve conversion, collections, and fraud detection 3. Creation of operational reports and dynamic dashboards We are a regulated lending app and are looking for a Data Analyst to perform these activities. 1\. Data Collection and Processing • Integrate data from various internal sources (SQL databases, CRM, credit system, collection tools, etc.). • Clean, normalize, and transform data to ensure consistency and quality. • Automate extraction processes using efficient scripts and queries. 2\. Analysis and Modeling • Build descriptive, predictive, and trend analyses. • Support the design and enhancement of risk models, payment propensity models, internal scoring, and portfolio segmentation. • Generate insights to identify improvement opportunities in conversion, early collections, fraud, or retention. 3\. Strategic Reporting • Create operational reports and dynamic dashboards for each department: o Credit: approval, rejection, TAT, fraud rates. o Collections: KPIs by delinquency stage, recovery, productivity. o Risk: loss indicators, segmentation, exposures. o Customer Service: response times, quality, ticket turnover. Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Computer Systems, or related field. • Minimum 1 year of experience in: o Data analysis o Reporting o Business Intelligence (BI) o Data analytics o Financial sector, fintech, or call center (mandatory) Important Plus: • Experience working with risk, collections, or credit teams. • Experience with predictive modeling or basic machine learning. (Desirable) Experience leading teams and solving problems WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday on-call duty (currently), 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM! We are located across from Liverpool Polanco, a few blocks from Polanco metro station. Salary: MXN 16,000–20,000 gross per month, depending on experience Salary: $15,000.00 – $18,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
