Job Summary: SANTORY is seeking a Digital Pattern Maker with experience in the GERBER system to lead the transition to digital pattern making and develop new designs by interpreting designers' instructions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the migration from manual pattern making to digital pattern making. 2. Develop digital patterns for new designs using the GERBER system. 3. Interpret designers' instructions for creations. Requirements: • GERBER system knowledge — MANDATORY • Fabric behavior and classification. • Garment production process control. • Knowledge of trims and notions. • Use of measurement charts and measurement techniques. • Basic grading knowledge. • Cutting, sewing, assembly, development, and material consumption of multi-style samples. • Pattern digitization and grading. • Operation of sewing machines (overlock, straight-stitch, buttonholer, collar attachers) and stitch types. Key Activities: • Leadership and guidance to transition the manual pattern-making team to digital pattern making. • Create digital patterns for new designs using the GERBER system. • Interpret instructions received from designers for developing new products. • Review sample garments for approval and release to contract manufacturing, in accordance with quality standards.
