Location (Cuauhtémoc, 10 minutes from Patriotismo metro station) PAYROLL ASSISTANT Position objective Administer personnel remuneration processes by monitoring and coordinating with department managers and supervisors to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Requirements * Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration * Minimum 1 year of experience calculating payroll, including payroll processing for at least 500 employees; knowledge of exempt and taxable concepts under the Income Tax Law (LISR); handling of payroll incidents such as overtime, holidays, etc.; administration of medical leaves * Knowledge of severance calculation, Fonacot and Infonavit calculations, and electronic payroll receipt stamping (timbrado) * Microsoft Office proficiency: intermediate level Job functions or responsibilities * Determine payments for severances and final settlements (finiquitos) * Determine and validate monthly and bimonthly IMSS and INFONAVIT contributions, respectively * Calculate and validate bimonthly employee reimbursements * Calculate, validate, and report employee hires, terminations, and salary adjustments to IMSS * Advise staff regarding their payments and procedures with IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, etc. * Calculate, validate, and process special payrolls including year-end bonus (aguinaldo), savings fund, profit-sharing (PTU), and the 31st-day payroll (días 31\).
