We are looking for a **Kafka Developer** with a minimum of 4 years of experience in **Java and Spring Boot**, and at least **2 years of experience with Apache Kafka and microservices**, to join our team. **Work Mode:** Hybrid, Álvaro Obregón, CDMX **Project Duration:** 5 months **English Proficiency:** Basic – Intermediate **Experience:** Minimum 4 years in Java development and at least 2 years working with Apache Kafka and Microservices. **Key Knowledge and Skills:** * Microservice Development with **Spring Boot 3\.x and Java (11, 17, and 21\).** * Experience with **Apache Kafka** for event integration and processing. * Consumption of **SQL Server Stored Procedures.** * Reading **Swagger** documentation and generating microservices from **API specifications.** * Creation of unit tests using **Mockito**. * Proficiency with tools such as **Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and Maven.** * Addressing and resolving vulnerabilities detected by **SonarQube, BlackDuck, and scanning tools.** * Identification and optimization of dependencies in **POM files**, aligned with corporate standards. * Knowledge of **Spring Framework 5** and **backend development best practices.** **Primary Responsibilities or Functions:** * Developing microservices using Spring Boot and Java. * Reading Swagger documentation and creating microservices based on it. * Writing unit tests. * Addressing microservice vulnerabilities reported by SonarQube, BlackDuck, etc. **What We Offer:** * Hybrid work mode. * Statutory and above-statutory benefits. * A dynamic and collaborative work environment. * IDS Comercial is a 100% Mexican IT company with over 40 years of experience and presence in Mexico, Latin America, and the U.S. Over 1,500 consultants work across numerous projects in financial, commercial, manufacturing, telecommunications, services, government, and other sectors. * We are accredited at CMMI Level 5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration), the quality model established by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).
