Purpose Design and implementation of technology solutions to successfully deliver new business initiatives through specialized software development expertise. This role requires deep understanding and extensive experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on Asset and Portfolio Management, Regulatory Compliance, Securities Trading, Clearing and Settlement, Portfolio Accounting, Custody, and Fund Accounting. More than 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) system is required. Responsibilities Analyzes business requirements and initiatives related to asset and portfolio management, aligned with the prioritization of the existing backlog in corporate tools, in collaboration with product owners and business stakeholders. Designs and develops solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and operational efficiency to ensure normal operations. Analyzes user needs and identifies enterprise solutions, coordinating with vendors when necessary. Defines procedures and workflows, develops implementation strategies, and production deployment plans. Applies resilience policies and procedures, establishing monitoring and alerting tools, documenting issues, and performing root cause analysis and solution proposals. Conducts research and analysis, precisely and clearly defining user requirements and processes. Understands the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions. Charles River (CRIMS) * Certified in implementing the Charles River IMS application (minimum 5 years of experience). * Experience within the asset management business application ecosystem (Portfolio and Order Management, Investment Accounting/Investment Ledger, Customer Ledger, Clearing and Settlement, file transfer, securities data, regulatory compliance, fund accounting, etc.). * Familiarity with start-of-day, intraday, and end-of-day processes for the Charles River IMS application and its integration with other applications and data sources. * Experience working successfully with multidisciplinary teams composed of technical, business, and stakeholder members. * Demonstrable knowledge of SQL and MySQL database query design. * Experience with programming languages such as Visual Basic, Java, .NET; other languages are a plus. Hands-on IT experience developing applications for relevant business lines (Asset Management, Investment Accounting, Securities Trading, Portfolio Management, etc.). The incumbent must be creative, proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated, with strong analytical skills to apply this knowledge and solve complex business problems. Must also possess a strong understanding of current IT practices, systems development techniques—including requirements specification and testing methodologies—as well as formal modeling tools and real-time analysis, and stay current with rapidly evolving technology. Must have knowledge of financial instruments, including market conventions and valuation methods, risk management methodologies and models, best practices, and current and future regulatory requirements. Must have experience in asset management processes (trading, order management, risk, compliance, performance) and end-to-end workflows, integrated with Middle and Back Office across multiple asset classes (e.g., fixed income, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, etc.). Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Business, Information Sciences, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Intermediate English proficiency Certifications Industry-recognized certifications or accreditations are a plus: CSE, CSDP, CSSLP IIBA\-CBAP, IIBA\-AAC, PMI\-PBA, CSM, PSM.
