Power BI Developer **Location:** Mexico City (Hybrid model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote) **Employment Type:** Full-time / Indefinite-term contract **Required Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI **Language:** Spanish\- English B2 **About the Position** --------------------- We are looking for a **Power BI Developer** with at least **3 years of proven experience developing Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI**, including data modeling, dashboard creation, and information analysis for high-impact client projects. This role requires advanced technical skills and excellent communication abilities to interact directly with clients and business users. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. * Build star and snowflake data models. * Create complex measures and calculations using advanced DAX. * Transform, clean, and consolidate data using Power Query (M). * Design user experience (UX)-focused reports with hierarchies, bookmarks, and drillthrough. * Publish and manage solutions in the Power BI service. * Implement row-level security (RLS). * Configure scheduled and incremental refreshes. * Integrate multiple data sources such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and REST APIs. * Optimize model and visualization performance. * Develop complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures. * Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and propose analytical solutions. **Requirements** -------------- Experience * Minimum **3 years of verifiable Power BI experience**, including dashboard development, data modeling, and information analysis. Technical Knowledge * Data modeling (star and snowflake schemas). * Advanced DAX: + Measures + Calculated columns + Variables + Time intelligence functions + Calculation groups * Power Query (M). * Power BI service administration: + Workspaces + RLS + Refresh scheduling * Advanced SQL: + Joins + Subqueries + CTEs + Window Functions * Stored procedures and views. * Knowledge of database modeling.
