Job Summary: This role seeks a quality professional to ensure excellence in products and processes, leading methodologies such as LPA, FMEA, and 8D in transformer manufacturing. Key Highlights: 1. Facilitate the 8D problem-solving methodology. **Your typical day** You will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality through the implementation and monitoring of methodologies including LPA (Layered Process Audit), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), 8D (Problem-Solving Methodology), and Risk and Opportunity Analysis. Your objective is to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with established quality standards in the production of dry-type transformers at the León Factory. **Your responsibilities** * Lead Layered Process Audits (LPA): * Plan, execute, and document layered process audits. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective audit implementation. * Analyze audit results and present reports to senior management. * Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA): * Perform FMEA to identify and assess risks associated with processes and products. * Collaborate with design and production teams to implement preventive and corrective actions. * Maintain up-to-date FMEA records and ensure their integration into the product lifecycle. * 8D Problem-Solving Methodology: * Facilitate application of the 8D methodology to address complex and recurring problems. * Coordinate work teams to identify root causes and develop effective solutions. * Document the 8D process and communicate results to stakeholders. * Risk and Opportunity Analysis (ROA): * Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks and opportunities in processes and products. * Develop action plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. * Monitor the effectiveness of implemented actions and make adjustments as needed. * Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): * Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. * Identify and propose improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency and quality. * Train and guide other employees in quality practices and problem-solving techniques. **Requirements for the position** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering. * Professional Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar quality role. * Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.), data analysis and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, proficiency in IT tools and quality management software. * Languages: In addition to Spanish, English at B2 level (Cambridge). * Skills / Competencies: Analytical and critical thinking, results orientation, leadership ability and capacity to work under pressure, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, preparation of executive reports for management. **About the team** The selected candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team—including design, warehouse, procurement, and manufacturing—to obtain information efficiently and clearly, and to achieve the synergy required by the company. **What is Siemens Energy?** At Siemens Energy, we are more than an energy technology company.
