Job Description: **Deputy Director, Surety and Credit Insurance** Full-time, hybrid position based in Mexico City, for a senior leader responsible for defining and executing the national growth and profitability strategy for the Surety and Credit Insurance product line. This role oversees management of the broking and client service team, strengthens relationships with surety providers and credit insurance companies, and collaborates with commercial teams to drive profitable and sustainable growth. This position plays a key role in shaping the business line’s strategic plan, optimizing processes, and identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and expansion.### **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities** * Lead and manage the national broking and client service team for Surety and Credit Insurance. * Build and maintain strong relationships with surety providers and credit insurance companies in Mexico. * Conduct client and prospect visits and meetings, positioning Aon’s value proposition and solutions. * Design and execute the national strategy for growth and profitability of the Surety and Credit Insurance product line. * Supervise and optimize operational processes within the area, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. * Collaborate closely with commercial and sales teams to ensure achievement of the business line’s growth plan. ### **Key Responsibilities and Skills** * Define, execute, and monitor the business plan for the Surety and Credit Insurance line, aligned with Aon’s strategic objectives. * Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and areas for improvement within the line. * Develop and implement technology-based solutions and process improvements to enhance productivity and service quality. * Lead strategic discussions with surety providers, credit insurers, clients, and internal departments to support business development. * Apply strong negotiation skills in complex commercial agreements with surety providers, credit insurers, and key clients. ### **Key Challenges** * Achieve and adapt the Surety and Credit Insurance business line’s plan. * Develop and implement technology and process solutions for the area. * Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities while continuously improving performance and client experience. ### **Position Requirements** * Minimum 5 years of experience in the surety sector (experience in Credit Insurance is a strong differentiator). * Advanced English proficiency. * In-depth knowledge of the surety industry in Mexico. * Strong negotiation, influence, and trust-building skills. * Proven ability to define and execute business plans, manage initiatives, and lead continuous improvement. ### **How We Support Our Colleagues** In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we foster an inclusive workforce and an agile work environment that empowers you to manage your well-being and work–life balance—so you can be your best self at Aon.
