




**Job Summary** The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing desktop support operations within the office environment. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure seamless IT support and service delivery. The candidate will work closely with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This position does not require travel and operates during day shifts. **Responsibilities** * Oversee the daily operations of the desktop support team to ensure efficient service delivery. * Provide expert technical support to resolve hardware and software issues promptly. * Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain desktop infrastructure. * Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all support activities. * Develop and maintain documentation for processes and procedures to enhance team efficiency. * Monitor and analyze support requests to identify trends and areas for improvement. * Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement and maintenance. * Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. * Lead initiatives to improve desktop support services and user experience. * Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime and impact on business operations. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on support activities and issues. * Implement best practices for desktop support to ensure high\-quality service delivery. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance desktop support capabilities. **Qualifications** * Possess a strong understanding of desktop support principles and practices. * Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. * Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. * Have experience with remote desktop support tools and technologies. * Show ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. * Hold a relevant certification such as CompTIA A\+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate. **Certifications Required** * CompTIA A\+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
