Site Manager (Electrical Installations)

Description

Position Summary: We are seeking an engineer with experience in supervising electrical construction for complex projects, including critical and healthcare-related systems, as well as civil coordination. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive supervision of critical electrical systems and healthcare-related systems. 2. Proven experience in constructing complex projects. 3. Proficiency in BIM 4D software for construction simulation. Education: Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, etc. Experience: At least 3 years of verifiable and certifiable experience in constructing projects with similar or greater complexity, executed for the public or private sector. Execution of Critical Systems: Supervise the installation of substations, emergency power plants, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. Healthcare Facilities: Oversee the assembly of isolation panels and isolation monitoring systems in operating rooms, intensive care units (ICUs), and delivery rooms. Grounding and Lightning Protection Systems: Ensure correct installation and measurement of grounding networks for sensitive medical equipment and protection against atmospheric discharges. Conduits and Cabling: Supervise the laying of conduit piping (heavy-wall/thin-wall), wire mesh cable trays, and branch circuit wiring, complying with standard color-coding regulations. Field Electrical Testing: Perform and document continuity tests, insulation resistance tests (meggering), grounding impedance measurements, and circuit breaker trip tests. Coordination with Civil Works: Ensure that preparations, embedments, and slab penetrations are ready prior to concrete pours to avoid subsequent chiseling. Software: Familiarity with BIM 4D (Navisworks or Synchro) for time-based construction process simulation.
