**PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR IV** Location Irapuato, Mexico FORVIA HELLA is a listed international automotive supplier. With currently around 36,500 employees at over 125 locations, the Company is active worldwide and generated adjusted sales of €8\.1 billion in fiscal year 2024\. **YOUR TASKS** **Job Objective** Managing the production supervisor sector according to basic company principles on cooperative leadership and cooperative partnerships (SQ) with group\-oriented management Ensuring that the agreed production targets in the area of responsibility are met in terms of quality, costs, deadlines, service and cooperation (Q\-C\-D\-S\-C) as well as health \& safety and environment protection, taking the relevant legal and company regulations into consideration Managing employees and controlling the production process while using different manufacturing techniques and processes for the operating equipment, as well as carrying out and initiating quality/improvement measures within the area of responsibility Directing projects, defining, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the work packages and deadlines within a project team while using prescribed methods and systems **Duties and Responsibilities** **A Specialist tasks (controlling, monitoring)** 1 Describing, coordinating, and possibly establishing new or changed production flows throughout the entire production process together with participating units such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Planning, Design and the Laboratory, possibly in agreement with the supervisor while taking into account the extent of planning, which must still be determined, and data on tools while using available systems and procedures 2 Controlling work and distributing tasks on the basis of planning specifications and supplements, taking deadlines, employee qualification, economic use of materials and work equipment into account, with agreement on special situations with the superior if appropriate 3 Intervention in the case of deviations from QCD and arrangement of corrective actions with those responsible, e.g. arrangement and monitoring of the provision of material and tools and supplies at the workplace according to the production orders as well as monitoring set\-up and conversion work at workstations and tools and supplies 4 Requesting missing parts as well as clarifying differences in material consumption and arrangement of special measures and revised planning in the working area, e.g. in bottleneck situations, where material is missing, machines are not working properly or there are other problems in the workflow 5 Ensuring the quality of material, products and operating equipment through control procedures, if appropriate determining reasons for failure and initiating corrective measures as well as securing and forwarding the results of control procedures and involvement in the drafting and implementation of quality assurance measures and in the preparation of analyses and statements in the event of customer complaints 6 Supporting and instructing subordinates in difficult cases and in agreement with the superior, laying down procedures in borderline situations, monitoring performance indicators, if necessary involving those responsible in the event of deviations from targets 7 Entering, recalling and checking data related to the area of responsibility using the DP\-system (e.g. order processing, finished notices, production plans), involvement in the preparation of pictograms, work instructions and descriptions **B Specialist tasks (planning, rationalization)** 1 Implementing suitable concepts to optimize the flow of materials, revising logistical processing in order to optimize availability and stock level while taking supplier management into account 2 Involvement in the production of new products, if necessary preparing and suggesting changes to improve the workflow 3 Involvement in the planning of the deployment of employees, production equipment, jigs and systems, material and power bearing requirements, deadlines and costs in mind, as well as in the testing and introduction of new machines, work systems, workflows and procedures and materials 4 Observation of existing work methods and workstations with regard to optimum layout, if necessary optimizing machine, line and method parameters and drawing up and suggesting improvements, comparing work methods and machines specified in the production plan with the actual status, arranging for changes if necessary 5 Arranging and monitoring maintenance measures on work and testing equipment as well as monitoring and securing on\-time work completion as well as involvement in machine acceptance tests for new purchases and repaired machines **C Projecting** 1 Directing projects, defining, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the work packages and deadlines within a project team while using prescribed methods and systems 2 Continuous monitoring of project success with regard to the financial resources used and target achievement 3 Participating in and/or implementing defined escalation scenarios when deviations from targets occur; illustrating existing alternative solutions **D Leadership** 1 Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target\-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks 2 Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function\-related tasks 3 Responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands Carrying out other tasks related to this position (including examining as well as complying with industrial safety and environmental protection measures pertaining to the scope of duties) **Job Profile / Requirements** a) profession / education professional education or special diploma b) job related experience more than 3 up to 5 years **YOUR QUALIFICATIONS** * Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. * 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, Core Tools, Lean Manufacturing, and Line Balancing. * KPI management: OLE, Scrap, TPM, OEE, Quality, Safety, Assembly Processes. * Personnel Management (50–70 people, 4 production lines). * Strong focus on teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. * FES implementation and monitoring.
