Heavy automotive repair and service company is seeking a **SUSPENSIONIST** Requirements Experience in diagnosing and repairing suspension systems on heavy-duty vehicles. Identify faults in pneumatic and mechanical suspensions through noises, vibrations, and tire wear. Replace or repair components such as shock absorbers, control arms, bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, leaf springs, coils, or axles. Perform preventive maintenance including inspection of fluid levels, leaks, and replacement of parts like rotochambers and air bags. Ensure proper wheel or chassis alignment and balancing. Assist in inspection, adjustment, and calibration of air brake systems. Verify integrity of chassis and mounting points for cracks or wear. Knowledge of pneumatic and mechanical suspension systems. Ability to use pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools. Previous experience with tractor-trailers and trailers.
