**Position: Service Technician** Reports to: Branch Leader Team collaboration with: Technical service colleagues, internal/external customers Location: Av. Comerciantes, 36294 Gto., Mexico, Silao, Guanajuato Position type: Full-time, on-site Schedule: TO BE DEFINED DURING INTERVIEW **Job Objectives:** Coordinate timely supply of products or services to meet customer needs at their facilities, while protecting the environment and maintaining profitability. **Job Requirements:** **Education:** Secondary school * Preferred: Incomplete or completed high school **Experience:** 1 year as press operator, production machinery attendant, or in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing companies. **Technical knowledge:** * Knowledge of ink or printing processes. * Knowledge of colorimetry. * Inventory control. * Basic Excel and Word. **Soft skills:** Service attitude, organization, assertive communication, teamwork, strategic planning, empathy, decision-making ability, and commitment. **Main Responsibilities:** 1\. Check product specifications at the customer's plant. 2\. Ensure proper functioning of the product on machines. 3\. Place orders to General Product's. 4\. Timely scheduling of orders to General Product's. 5\. In case of product claim or rejection, proceed to correct the issue. 6\. Perform product stock inventory according to the date established by the customer for invoicing. 7\. Daily review of the customer's printing schedule (to ensure product availability in inventory). 8\. Recovery of contaminated materials (if applicable). 9\. Inform General Product's laboratory of any product specification changes required by the customer. 10\. Keep equipment and work area in perfect condition. 11\. Provide technical advice and service to the customer when applicable. 12\. Maintain direct contact with customers, establishing good relationships, attention, service, and constant communication. 13\. Follow customer-established rules and guidelines for Safety, Hygiene, Ecology, and Environmental practices. 14\. Ensure proper functioning of the product on the customer's equipment. 15\. Perform tone matching if required. 16\. Conduct inventories and be responsible for them (first in, first out). 17\.
