Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil Construction Resident to assist the superintendent in the physical execution of work fronts, planning activities and ensuring time, quality, cost, and safety standards. We seek passionate individuals with the following profile: **Civil Construction Resident** **Job Objective:** *Support the superintendent* in tasks delegated by them. Responsible for the physical execution of the assigned work front. Proactively plan required activities, materials, and personnel to meet the construction schedule. Must ensure compliance with time, quality, cost, and safety conditions and standards. **Main Functions and Activities to Support:** * Thoroughly understand the scope, drawings, specifications, and control budget (including unit price cards) for their assigned work front. * Quantify materials required for the assigned work front and submit this information to the Superintendent for review and approval. * Execute fieldwork for their work front in accordance with drawings, specifications, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements. * Conduct daily quality supervision on site, maintaining quality forecasts and standards for each activity while adhering to applicable codes and regulations. * Verify that materials and/or equipment delivered on site match the specifications and quantities requested per the purchase order. * Meet with the Superintendent to present progress and the schedule for their work front for review and integration into the General Construction Schedule. * Conduct project closeout with subcontractors. (Internal punch list, manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, training, equipment handover). **Requirements:** * Civil Engineering or Architecture degree * Professional degree certificate and/or professional license * Valid driver's license * 3+ years of experience in industrial construction projects **Competencies and Skills:** * Learning ability * Problem analysis * Empathy * Quality focus * Decision-making * Effective communication * Teamwork **Knowledge:** * Microsoft Office suite * MS Project * AutoCAD * Supervision of construction execution across all disciplines: earthworks, civil works, structural works, cladding, and installations. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary * Statutory benefits * Major Medical Expenses Insurance and Life Insurance starting from the first year of employment * Savings fund Work Location: Salamanca, Guanajuato.
