"Software development with over 3 years’ experience in the COBOL programming language, using: Desirable: CICS (Mandatory) JCL Utilities handling (file creation, file sorting, copying, file matching, etc.) DB2 – SQL Mainframe Batch processes Online transactions CONTROL-M handling ChangeMan version control handling Altamira or Alnova architecture Diagramming knowledge Connect:Direct (file transfers) Optional: Host table design and creation VSAM file handling Pure CICS MQ knowledge Optional Tools: X-INFO Jira Remedy – Helix Responsibilities: Analyze technical requirements and execute client rules to ensure proper software construction, as well as conduct robust unit and functional testing with end users to guarantee deliverable quality.
