Process Engineer I - Plastic Injection Molding

Job Summary: A professional with experience in plastic injection molding, troubleshooting, and manufacturing process validation. Key Highlights: 1. Expertise in plastic injection molding and troubleshooting. 2. Responsible for balancing production lines and defining process parameters. 3. Leads mold and manufacturing process improvements. • Must understand and master the plastic injection molding process, as well as troubleshooting of molding machines and auxiliary equipment. • Estimate process capabilities. • Estimate operating rates. • Responsible for balancing production lines. • Responsible for determining required parameters (establishing process windows) to validate molds, equipment, and/or manufacturing processes. • Identify molds requiring improvement or redesign. Lead and/or participate in new mold design (with the objective of improving performance), FAT, and SAT (if applicable). Responsible for commissioning (process validation). • Responsible for generating and maintaining up-to-date documentation related to manufacturing processes. • Responsible for developing validation protocols, coordinating and/or executing validations (IQ, Engineering Studies, OQ, PQ). -Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher Education - Bachelor's Degree 4 years of experience Languages: English Knowledge: Troubleshooting, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastic Injection, Production Processes Keywords: engineers, ingeniera, ing, engineer
