




Position Summary: The Operations Programmer is responsible for scheduling activities to complete Work Orders within the required timeframe at a leading gold mining company. Key Highlights: 1. One way MML seeks to create a competitive advantage is through high-caliber leaders supported by well-designed people systems that result in a highly committed, engaged, and productive workforce.**Requirements** * Degree in Mining, Industrial Engineering, or related field * Certification or training in operations programming and planning (with focus on Work Orders) * Certification or training in basic project management (Project or equivalent) * Certification or training in safe underground mining operations and compliance with applicable regulations * 2–3 years of experience in operations programming in underground mining. * Experience in programming and sequencing Work Orders (WO) in ERP systems. * Experience in tracking adherence to weekly operational and maintenance schedules. * Experience in managing operational deviations and making real-time schedule adjustments. **Key Responsibilities** * Reviews the TSR in the ERP system for new tasks, tracking the status of the Weekly and Monthly Scheduling Plan. * Classifies and identifies Work Orders to initiate the scheduling process: * Prepares a draft of the Weekly and Monthly Schedule by determining and comparing required dates against the Routine Operations Program. * Meets with Supervisors and Team Members to review the draft Weekly Schedule, incorporating their input and feedback. * Finalizes the schedule, documents critical issues, creates and distributes the agenda for the weekly scheduling meeting. * Leads the weekly scheduling meeting and analyzes any risks requiring management decisions, updating the Weekly Schedule accordingly. * Finalizes and distributes the Weekly Schedule to Operations Supervisors and Programmers. * Coordinates with the Planner on Work Order details and priorities as needed. * Follows up with the Resource Coordinator (Warehouse) to ensure all materials are available for scheduled Work Orders. * Reports any incidents occurring during the shift in the Incident Notification System. * Provides real-time information via appropriate workplace technology, as specified throughout the shift. * Performs unplanned tasks as required. ***NOTE: Torex Gold Resources and its subsidiaries do not accept resumes from recruitment agencies that are not under an active contract and have not been nominated as authorized partners to conduct search activities.***
