Join our team to continue building our success story together. **Job Description** -------------------------- As Assistant I, Laundry, you will be responsible for operating and attending to washing or dry-cleaning machines to perform cleaning tasks on a variety of industrial or domestic items. Your duties will include laundering fabric garments, suede, leather, furs, blankets, curtains, linens, rugs, and carpets, as well as stain removal and dyeing of these items.**Job Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- * Operate washing and dry-cleaning machines to clean various industrial and domestic items. * Inspect items for stains, colorfastness, and appropriate cleaning requirements. * Load and unload items into washing or dry-cleaning machines, ensuring proper care for delicate fabrics and materials. * Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure adequate cleaning and drying. * Inspect cleaned items to verify that all stains and dirt have been removed, repeating the process if necessary. * Sort, fold, or hang cleaned items for storage, distribution, or further processing. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation standards. * Perform routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning lint traps and checking for wear. * Complete any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned related to the work area. **Work Experience** ----------------------- * Entry-level position with limited prior training or relevant work experience. * Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks. * Work is prescribed and completed with minimal autonomy. * Works under close supervision or clearly defined procedures. * Has 0–1 year of work experience. **Competencies** ---------------- Interpersonal skills Functional job knowledge Leadership Problem solving Teamwork and collaboration Accountability Business acumen Advocating for guest needs Self-development Impact**Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. * Basic English. **Certifications** ------------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
