Job Summary: Provide in-store operational support for sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to meet operational and commercial performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in-store operational floor activities 2. Arrange and display merchandise 3. Attend to customers and process transactions at the cash register Provide in-store operational floor support by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in compliance with applicable arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by clarifying inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures; also handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
