Do you have a business mindset? Are you looking for a dynamic, professional environment where your ideas are valued and where you can grow your career? If so, we want to meet you! At Palladium Hotel Group, we are looking for **a Room Service Order Taker** at Grand Palladium Riviera Maya**.**
**MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION**
* Ensure the work area is clean and organized at the start of each shift.
* Update the department’s bulletin board with the list of special guests, club members, and complex executives.
* Verify that telephone lines are functioning properly.
* Answer guest calls from their rooms using the department’s standard phraseology to take breakfast, lunch, or dinner orders.
* Relay food orders to the kitchen for preparation, then hand them to the waiter for delivery to the rooms.
* Safeguard order slips returned by the waiter with the guest’s signature after service delivery.
* Make courtesy calls 30 minutes after service delivery to collect guest feedback and/or suggestions, and to ask whether dirty tableware may be collected.
* Accurately record all services delivered to rooms in a logbook titled “Service Delivery Control.”
* Verify that TripAdvisor cards are available in the department.
* Maintain logs with brief descriptions of incidents, complaints, or noteworthy events received in the department during the shift, to inform the immediate supervisor and ensure follow-up.
* Manually prepare a list of departmental supply shortages.
* Verify that radios are functioning properly.
* Maintain a log of wine sales and subsequently deliver a copy of this information along with generated order slips to Reception.
* Record monthly in-room sales in a register for future clarification if required.

**Requirements:**

**Experience and Technical Knowledge:**
* Minimum 6 months to 2 years’ experience as a telephone operator in the hospitality industry (guest/customer service) or in public relations (telephone-based customer service).
* Knowledge of PINAP system operation and customer service procedures.
* Intermediate to Advanced English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
